Vietnam has cut the centralized quarantine period for fully vaccinated foreign arrivals to 7 days from the previous 14 days. Although this will mainly benefit business and diplomatic travellers, because at this time no tourist visas are being issued. However, the government might continue to open Phu Quoc Island for international tourists and we will update to you as soon as this is confirmed.

Vietnam will shift the dates for the 22nd edition of its national film festival from September to November in response to the recent spikes in Covid-19 infections. The Vietnam Film Festival will still be hosted in the former imperial city and UNESCO World Heritage city of Hue in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.
