THAILAND
Thailand Entry Conditions / ‘Test and Go’
On Oct 21, the government issued an announcement to allow fully vaccinated travelers from 63 countries and territories to enter the kingdom without quarantine assuming they pass a Covid-19 test upon landing in Thailand.
-A Thailand Pass QR Code can be obtained at https://tp.consular.go.th/ from 1 November 2021.
-A Medical Certificate with a negative RT-PCR lab result was issued no more than 72 hours before travelling.
-An insurance policy, with coverage of no less than US$50,000, is required for all visitors
-A Certificate of Vaccination (fully vaccinated) should be shown on arrival
-Payment confirmation for no less than a one-night stay upon arrival at an approved quarantine hotel
-The prepayment should cover both the one-night accommodation, the required Covid-19 test, and an Antigen Test Kit (ATK).
-Tourists not included in the 63 countries under ‘Test and Go’, can still enter Thailand under the current ‘Sandbox’ scheme

The ‘Tourism Authority of Thailand’ has announce that 2022 will feature a big promotion billed as ‘Visit Thailand Year 2022)
Thailand will present travel experiences under three ‘Amazing New Chapters’
Chapter 1 – ‘The 5 Senses’ – focussing on Thai Cuisine, Nature, Spa’s and visual beauty
Chapter 2 – ‘The One You Love’ – focussing on families, couples and wedding destinations
Chapter 3 – ‘The Earth We Care For’ – focussing on eco-tourism and sustainable tourism
Air access to Thailand
Emirates’ flagship A380 service is set to return to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, commencing 28 November.
The aircraft upgrade will help Emirates to meet strong passenger demand for inbound travel on the heels of Thailand’s re-opening to international tourists who are vaccinated. Around 10,000 arrivals are registered daily at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi’s airport.
Doi Inthanon National Park in Chiang Mai Province
Doi Inthanon National Park, the country’s highest peak, reopened to vaccinated visitors in November, after being closed to the public for several months because of the pandemic.
Visitors began queueing at the park gate for Covid-19 screening before being allowed to enter and enjoy the famously cooler temperatures at the top with a view of the rolling mists

Melia
Expected to open in December 2021, the new ‘Melia Phuket Mai Khao Beach’ is a 30-suite and 70-villa beachfront resort launched by Spanish hotel group, Melia Hotels International
The property encompasses more than 32,000sqm of Phuket’s north-western coastline with Mediterranean-inspired accommodations fused with touches of Thai culture
VIETNAM
Vietnam Entry Conditions
As part of its three-stage vaccine passport program, Vietnam has started welcoming back fully vaccinated foreign travelers from selected countries to five provinces this month, with further destinations slated for reopening at the end of the year.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is calling the campaign ‘Live Fully in Vietnam’, which comes off the back of the country being named ‘Asia’s Leading Destination’ at the 2021 World Travel Awards.
Khanh Hoa province on the south-central coast, the southern resort island of Phu Quoc, Danang and UNESCO-listed Hoi An on the central coast are the first to receive international travelers. Tourists should be fully vaccinated and have sufficient medical insurance.
‘From January next year, Vietnam will resume regular flights with 15 markets, eyeing four flights per week for each end,’ the Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement
CAMBODIA
Cambodia Entry Conditions
Cambodia has phased out quarantine, the last obstacle preventing tourism recovery, allowing fully vaccinated foreign travelers access to the country’s tourist destinations starting Monday, 15 November.
Tourists must be fully vaccinated, have sufficient medical insurance and will have a covid-19 test on arrival, after which they can travel around the country, including the tourist hotspot on ‘Angkor Wat’
Cambodia is a leader in vaccinating its population, achieving 88% of the 16 million adults.
Air Access to Cambodia
Bangkok Airways, one of the leading regional airlines in South East Asia, will resume international flights on the Bangkok -Phnom Penh route starting 1 December 2021
Bangkok Airways will fly the route four-times weekly starting 1 December
INDONESIA
Indonesia Entry Conditions
To date, Indonesia has reopened Bali to locals, as well as foreign visitors from 19 countries, including France, China, the UAE, and New Zealand — destinations which have been given the all clear due to lower levels of infected Covid-19 cases and transmission levels.
Next up, the government is working on a vaccinated travel lane with Australia.
Tourists must show proof of full vaccination, and test negative for Covid-19 before boarding their flight
The Indonesian government has decided to reduce the mandatory quarantine period for international travelers, both Indonesian citizens and foreigners, from five to three days
