THAILAND
No Pre-arrival Tests before entering Thailand and No tests on Arrival!
Final relaxation of entry requirements to Thailand has been announced, and will begin on 01st May
You must show proof of insurance cover of USD10,000 and your vaccination certificate logging details on the Thailand Pass.
You do not need to show proof of a pre-arrival negative RT-PCR test or undergo a test on arrival in Thailand. No arrival test of any kind.
You do not need to book the first night hotel or participate in Test and Go or Sandbox schemes due to end by 30 April.

‘Test and Go’ campaign will be terminated
The new rules apply to all vaccinated travelers who register their application to visit Thailand through the Thailand Pass starting 29 April for entry to the country on or later than 1 May 2022.

Hotels – CENTARA in Chiang Mai
Centara Hotels & Resorts, and Chiangmai Riverside Plaza Hotel has announced the signing of a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) to be renamed Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai
The latest signing is the first following the announcement by Centara of its bold expansion plans, which will help the group reach its goal of becoming a top 100 global hotel operator within five years.
Hotels – AVANI in Hua Hin
Thailand’s first wellness clinic in association with Indian wellness and beauty operator VLCC, has opened at Avani+ Hua Hin Resort.
VLCC is a comprehensive beauty and wellness concept led by experienced medical practitioners.
Ranging from one day to fourteen-night retreats, VLCC programs cover four broad themes: integrated wellness, beauty and weight management, immunity and detox.

Entry Rules change
The Government of Indonesia recently announced a full reopening of the country effective on 24 March, 2022.
Visa-on-arrival was recently extended to travelers, from 43 countries and issuance of the VOA is now possible at seven international airports.
These are Yogyakarta, Medan, Makassar, Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya and Manado.
On-arrival testing has now been removed for those considered fully vaccinated although pre-departure PCR tests are still mandatory.
Proof of health / medical insurance including COVID-19 treatment is required for a minimum coverage of $25,000 USD per person
VIETNAM
Hotels – Marriott Hotels
Marriott International is set to quadruple its hotel count in Vietnam.
The company says it has plans for 30 hotels comprising nearly 9,000 rooms.
It will see the debut of brands including Ritz-Carlton Residences and Westin.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Hanoi is slated to open in 2024.
World’s Longest Glass Bridge
Vietnam will soon have the world’s longest glass bridge.
Come Vietnam’s Reunification Day on 30 April 30, the Bach Long bridge will open to Moc Chau, a northern highlands town around 200km from Hanoi. The 632m-long glass bridge is set to be one of the province’s top tourism attractions.
Only 500 people will be allowed to walk on the bridge at a time to ensure safety, according to the local government
The local tourism authorities are currently seeking Guinness world record recognition for Bach Long as the world’s longest glass bridge.
