Festival News / ‘The Ghost Festival’ in North-East Thailand
‘Phi Ta Khon’, more commonly known as the ‘Ghost Festival’, takes place in the northern city of ‘Loei’ this month. During this three-day festival, the locals dress up in ghost masks and make merry by participating in parties and parades. The colourful and vibrant masks can get scary and are generally white with long noses. Definitely one of the most fun celebrations to experience in Thailand

Festival News / ‘Vesak Day’ in Indonesia
‘Vesak Day’, also known as ‘Buddha Day’, is Asia’s most important Buddhist festival, observed by Buddhists around the region. Indonesian Buddhists marked this religious holiday at the largest temple in the world, as celebrations returned to the holy site after two years of the coronavirus pandemic. Over 1,000 people, mostly dressed in all-white, attended a ceremony at the 9th Century Borobudur temple in Central Java to mark this year’s event, which commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha

Thailand Tour Suggestion / ‘A Morning in the Green Lungs of Bangkok’
Our popular new morning tour features a variety of activities in the ‘Green Lungs’ (Bang Krachao) located at an island on Bangkok’s Chaophraya River. The day starts with giving ‘Alms’ to the local ‘Monks’ at a famous temple, then begins a bicycle ride through scenic, meandering trails to the ‘Bang Krachao’ Floating Market. After sampling several local dishes, we continue cycling to visit a local school and offer ethical gifts to the children. After a busy morning, we return to your Bangkok hotel
